When I was first invited to join Steve, Jennifer, Jaime and the other artists on the Morning Song Music Cruise in 2009, I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was my first time on the trip, and I was concerned that since I wasn’t one of the host artists, I might feel a little out of place. But from the moment I stepped on board, Steve made me feel welcome and included as a part of the team. I performed a number of times during the main program and I also got the chance to help lead song service with Jennifer. A musical highlight for me was when Jaime joined me on one of my performances. What a treat!  One benefit that I didn’t expect was the great exposure that I received as a result of performing on the Music Cruise. It led to several concert opportunities and an invitation to sing on Quiet Hour’s “Windows of Hope” TV broadcast. I can honestly say that the 2009 Morning Song Music Cruise was a turning point in my career and that it was very much worth it. I would definitely do it again!
